One ceremony. Two perspectives. When I can capture both, MAGIC!

From above, Bernardus becomes a painting: vineyard rows, garden hedges, a sea of white parasols. From the ground, it’s real again. Your bouquet in hand, the people who love you most on either side.

Aerial coverage depends on the venue and the day, so it’s not something I can promise every couple. But when the conditions are right, I love adding this perspective, because the view from above tells a part of the story nothing else can

I will die on this hill! Your wedding gallery should be more than pretty photos of the two of you and your details…

It should be full of your people. Your friends wiping away tears during toasts. Your grandparents stealing a kiss on the dance floor. The whole table raising their glasses under the string lights.

Because those are the photos that will stop you in your tracks years from now. Not because they’re perfect, but because you can feel exactly how much the day meant to everyone in the room.

Your guests flew in, dressed up, and showed up for you. They deserve a place in your gallery. And I’m watching for those moments all day long.

“We don’t want to be taken away from our guests all day.” I hear this from couples a lot, and honestly?

SAME.

I want you at your cocktail hour with a glass of something good in hand.

I want you laughing with your college roommates, taking selfies with your bridesmaids, hugging the family who flew in just to be there.

I want you on the dance floor when the song you fought over in the group chat finally comes on.

All I need is fifteen minutes of good light. That’s exactly how Katrina and Logan ended up with these at Brindare.

My favorite line to give groomsmen is “give me GQ.”

That’s it. No other instruction. And every time it works. Hands in pockets, shoulders back, a little attitude nobody knew they had.

Groomsmen portraits are one of my favorite parts of wedding day photography. No forced smiles, no “what do I do with my hands,” just a group of guys under a 200 year old oak tree suddenly convinced they belong on a magazine cover.

This Holman Ranch wedding gave us the perfect backdrop for it.

I love what I do so much I forget to prove it on the internet!

I never used to think about my Instagram on a wedding day. That’s probably a good thing…. probably.

Okay I’m not okay because Katrina + Logan just got featured on and I am BEAMING!

This day was so good. Like genuinely one of those weddings where you leave feeling full.

The emotion, the laughter, the energy of people who were just so happy to be there celebrating two people they love.

Brindare Napa Valley doing what it does best, looking like you got transported somewhere in Tuscany for the day.

Two people completely in love, a guest list that brought the energy from start to finish, and honestly??? This one deserved it.

So proud of these images and so glad they get to live here.

Some days it’s editing until midnight, answering emails between snack breaks, and wondering if I’m doing any of it well enough.
But then I look at my girls and remember — this is the point.
I want them to watch me build something. To see that hard work and intention actually create a life. To grow up knowing that when they want something, they go get it.
Being my own boss means I don’t miss the moments that matter. I’m present when they need me, and I’m still building something I’m proud of.
I’m not just running a business. I’m showing them what’s possible.
