Our Studio! 204 Kenmar Drive, Suite #2 Monroeville, PA 15146 (Appointment Only) We specialize in fashion-inspired, editorial senior portraits that help high school seniors celebrate who they are and step confidently into who they are becoming. More than a photoshoot, each session is designed to be an experience - one that empowers teens to feel seen, confident, and comfortable in front of the camera. From personalized styling guidance and professional hair and makeup to thoughtfully selected locations and expert posing, every detail is curated to create images that feel authentic, elevated, and uniquely you. Sessions are tailored to each senior and may take place in our Monroeville studio, on location, or through a combination of both to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you're celebrating your senior year through a signature portrait session, a year-long Senior Era experience, one of our special creative sessions or graduation portraits, our goal is to create meaningful artwork that captures this milestone and preserves it for generations to come. Located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania and serving high school seniors throughout the Pittsburgh region. Also available for destination sessions.

Unpopular opinion: choosing a location is one of the LAST things we should do when planning your senior session.

Because a beautiful location can give you beautiful pictures.

But beautiful pictures aren’t enough.

I want to create photographs that could only belong to you.

Before I’m thinking about fields or city streets, flowers or architecture, I’m thinking about the person I’m photographing.

What do you love?

What do you wear when you feel most like yourself?

Are you quiet and introspective? Bold and expressive? A little bit of both?

What matters to you right now?

Who - or what - belongs in your story?

That’s where we start.

Then we build everything else around it.

The wardrobe.
The locations.
The styling.
The details.
The experience itself.

And yes, sometimes that means we’re barefoot on a dock.

Sometimes we’re standing in the middle of a field.

Sometimes the dog comes along.

Sometimes there’s a horse. 😉

None of those things are there because they make a cute Pinterest board.

They’re there because they mean something to the person I’m photographing.

That’s the difference between having senior pictures taken and creating a senior portrait experience that actually feels like yours.

Years from now, I don’t just want you to look at these photographs and remember what you looked like at 17 or 18.

I want you to remember who you were.

The things you loved.
The confidence you were growing into.
The pieces of your life that mattered.
The person you were becoming.

Because the goal was never to create a gallery that could have been photographed for anyone.

The goal is to create one that couldn’t possibly belong to anyone else.

🤍 Save this for when you’re planning senior portraits — especially if you’re tempted to start by Googling “best senior photo locations near me.”

And if you’re looking for someone to simply meet you at a pretty location and take pretty pictures, I may not be your photographer.

But if you want an experience designed around who you actually are when the camera isn’t pointing at you?

We should talk. It’s what I do.

Most people think beautiful senior portraits happen because of a gorgeous location, a perfect sunset or just sheer luck.

The truth?

Beautiful galleries begin long before I ever pick up my camera.

They’re built through dozens of intentional decisions.

✨ Choosing the right location…not just the prettiest one.

✨ Planning wardrobe colors that work with the environment instead of competing with it.

✨ Knowing how to create beautiful light, at any time of the day, in any environment.

✨ Timing each part of the session so every change in light creates a completely different mood.

By the time you see the final gallery, it feels effortless.

That’s exactly how it should feel.

Because while you’re laughing, exploring, and simply enjoying the experience...

I’m quietly thinking three steps ahead.

That’s the difference intentional planning makes.

And at the end of the day?

The photographs that matter most usually didn’t just happen.

They’re the ones that were thoughtfully planned to help you remember the girl you were on the way to becoming a woman.

🤍 Save this post if you’re planning senior portraits. When you’re comparing photographers, remember that beautiful images don’t just happen when you show up on session day. They happen through thoughtful planning long before the first shutter click.

✨ I have just two August dates remaining, and fall fills quickly. If you’d like to create something that’s intentionally designed around your story, send me a message and let’s start planning.

Regan’s Senior Session Sneak Peek Is Here!

No rain. No smoke. No searing summer heat. 🙌

4 outfits.
3 hours.
2 locations.
1 ice cream stop. 🍦
And approximately 4,872 bugs. 😂

Chapter One: Summer Joy. Modern Muse. Off-Duty Dancer.

Regan’s first Senior Era session could not have given us a better summer evening. We wandered through gardens, played with movement, and brought each part of her session vision to life.

And after an afternoon of overcast skies, the sun decided to show up at exactly the right moment for golden hour in the meadow. ✨

Regan, this is just the tiniest peek at everything we created. I cannot WAIT for you to see the rest. 🔥🔥🔥

Your senior year deserves more than one moment. This is your Senior Era.

“He doesn’t want senior pictures.”

I hear that more often than you might think.

Usually it’s followed by a nervous laugh from Mom.

“He’ll do it for me...”
“He hates having his picture taken.”
“He says he never looks good in photos.”

And every single time, I tell her the same thing:

That’s okay.

Because I don’t need him to love having his picture taken.

I don’t need him to know how to pose.

I don’t need him to walk into the session confident.

I simply need him to show up.

The rest isn’t about photography.

It’s about creating a space where he doesn’t feel judged.
Where nobody is asking him to be louder...
or smile bigger...
or become someone he isn’t.

Little by little, the walls come down.

The guarded expressions soften.

The real smiles appear.

And somewhere along the way, he stops thinking about the camera entirely.

That’s when we create the photographs that, as a Mom, you’ve always wanted...

and often the first photographs he actually likes of himself.

Years from now, these images won’t matter because his hair was perfect.

Or because his shirt matched.

Or because he smiled on command.

They’ll matter because they’ll remind you exactly who your son was in this fleeting season between childhood and adulthood.

And if he tells you he doesn’t want senior pictures...

bring him anyway.

We’ll meet him where he is.

🤍

Tell me in the comments...

Did your senior want photos, or did you have to convince them?
