The transition from baby to toddler is bittersweet. It feels like a genuine graduation. The sleepless nights are (mostly) behind us. The tiny, helpless newborn phase seems like a lifetime ago. The “first” year has been about survival, learning, and monumental growth—not just for her, but for the whole family.

As mothers sit back, watching their older children be their biggest champions, their loudest playmates, and their fastest teachers. Capturing that shared joy and love, fills my heart. ❤️

Lucky to capture this beautiful family again. Little sweet pea might not have been a hug fan of her cake… but glad I could capture her family joining in on the fun on their little girl/baby sister’s first birthday! Happy 1st Birthday sweet heart! 💕

Had a blast with this repeat family. Nothing like celebrating running in the fields and water in your favorite dress (that she did not want to get wet) while eating a cupcake. 🧁 Simple and free spirit sessions are the best!
