There are some evenings that are hard to put into words — which is probably why I’m much more comfortable behind a camera.

“A Seat at the Table” was one of those evenings.

The final dinner in a series of five, and somehow I was trusted to photograph it. I’m still a little flabbergasted by that.

What I can put into words is how grateful I am to have been welcomed into this table — to witness the thought, artistry, intention, food, conversation, laughter, and the people who make this creative community feel so damn special.

There was so much beauty in the details, but even more in what happened between them. The stories shared. The ideas exchanged. The people who showed up fully and made space for one another.

I’ll let the photographs do what I know they do best: tell the story I’m not quite sure how to tell with words.

So grateful to have had a seat at this table. 🤍
