We’re almost out of summer, which means fall senior sessions are right around the corner!

October is nearly FULL, and I only have a few spots left for fall senior sessions.

The rain moved in right after the ceremony. You could hear the thunder rolling and see lightning in the distance.

We knew we had a very small window, so we got to work.

Family photos. Bridal party portraits. Bride and groom.

We managed to squeeze what normally would have been nearly an hour of photos into about 10 very fast minutes before the rain started coming down.

And this crew? They handled every second of it with ease.

Sometimes wedding days don’t go exactly as planned, but that’s part of the magic. And I’ll take a crew that can roll with it like this any day.

And golden hour after a good rain? There is truly nothing like it.

She is hands down the calmest, smartest, sweetest chocolate Lab I’ve ever been around.

And yes, she absolutely knows she’s this cute.

The Ramirez’s maternity session was soft, glowy, and absolutely beautiful. The perfect summer evening to capture them before they welcome their baby girl.

The emotions that come with a wedding day are something incredible to witness.

I get to watch two people completely in love promise forever to each other. I get to watch best friends see their person gain a best friend for life. I get to watch parents look at their kids and realize they have found the kind of love they always hoped they would.

The quiet moments. The shaky hands. The deep breaths. The tears that start before anyone even says a word. The laughter that comes right in the middle of all of it.

I get a front row seat to some of the most emotional moments in people's lives.

And the best part about being the photographer?

I get to hide my own tears behind the lens.
