When Cate reached out to plan a surprise session with her grandma during their first visit to Traverse City, I knew it was going to be something special! I have no words for what happened in Uvalde. My heart is so heavy for everyone affected. I'm sad and angry that we live in a world that necessitates our kids live in fear and active shooter drills, knowing they may one day actually need that knowledge. At least for today, I'm praying and holding our babes a little tighter. Wishing those who lost their loved ones could do the same 🖤

Apparently I spoke too soon about being excited for spring photo shoots and nature has rewarded me with freezing temperatures 🥶 Dreaming back to beautiful grassy fields and warm days. Can't wait to photograph this sweet couple's wedding in just a few short weeks!

I had SO much fun doing engagement photos for Jena and Kellor. These two are clearly head over heels for each other, and I'm so excited for the two of them to be starting their lives together. Plus, can we talk about how beautiful Jena is?!?! She has that eye smize down 👏👏👏

Senior session with Andrew! We made use of the couple hours without rain this weekend.

We had a blast, and as you can see, Andrew's a natural in front of the camera. He had the fantastic idea of going to Lake Dubonnet to find some beautiful fall colors - they did not disappoint! I just had to share a couple as I'm beginning to edit the gallery 😊

Congrats on your senior year Andrew! You have a bright future ahead of you 🎉🎓🎉
