Grayling, Michigan, is a small dot on some maps. The quaint tourist town is best known for its fly-fishing history and for being the epicenter of "up north" in the Midwest. Its other claim to faim: hosting a popular event that claims to be "the world's toughest spectator race."

Harbinger to the Manitou Passage. The Point Betsie Lighthouse is the longest standing structure in its county circa 1858. A stunning example of a Great Lakes Lighthouse.

The struggle is real. I can really relate to Jason and his frustrations here. As you have noticed my own "Business Page" is a bit lacking on Facebook these days. It is a constant struggle as Facebook pushes new algorithms and ultimately looks to turn a social mixing party into a profit generating entity. It is a bit of a shame. Please check out Little Bay Boards or any page that you might have once had an interest in. Maybe you have not seen much from them lately? I guarantee they are still hard at work. Jason's boards are better than ever! If you are in the market I strongly suggest you look up Little Bay Boards, heck give them a follow and a share!

Facebook....Both a curse and a friend...
This little shop has relied on post on this page for years now to help spread the word about my passion of building quality rideable art to those that want something different to ride in life.
All natural, Eco-Friendly custom built boards. My drive to build the best boards the waters have ever seen is a dream I've luckily been able to float just above the surface for awhile now.
Facebook however is a global business that somehow feels that even though I've earned 3,600+ plus followers over time that they only show a standard post to about 300 of them. Unless I choose to pay to reach people who already like what I'm showing. I don't see this as fair.... I totally understand that advertising does cost money and honestly have no problem digging in the pockets to reach more people outside my earned circle. But feel it only seems fair that when I work day and night to build one of a kind beautiful boards and snap a photo to show all those who like what I do that it would at least go out to the people that have expressed their appreciation of what this little shop does? It's hard to be a small business in a big big world. I feel for the even smaller dreamers out there that are trying to pave a path and achieve their dreams. If your a follower of me or many small dreaming company out there. Please like and share their post. They normally don't have the funds to pay to spread the love and need your help with their dreams. Thank you to all that support me and any artist out there trying to make the world a little more beautiful.....
Life comes in waves.....
Why not ride them......
