Melina Rain Photo MRP is a La Crosse-based natural light photographer who specializes in family and wedding portraits. She specializes in family, couple, and senior portraits.

After taking portraits and building her portfolio as a side gig since 2018, Melina took a dive and left her full time job in early 2022 to pursue photography as her full time profession. Her goal is to make the clients as comfortable as possible while delivering quality, lifelong memories with her portraits.

A very rainy Saturday made me whip out some lighting for a large family shoot- I appreciate these guys for being so flexible, and also for feeding me some good food afterwards. I'm so glad we got a few shots in the last couple minutes of our session when the rain paused for a few minutes!

This senior session ended up being a way more interesting shoot than I had originally planned- I booked this session with Tamber through her mom a while back, and I don't think I've ever asked for my seniors last names (I just simply have no reason to).

Come to find out (mid session, mind you) that I wasn't just shooting any senior session, but I was actively meeting family. The entire time I was shooting with this gorgeous senior, I was shooting with one of my NIECES. It was so good to get to know her and her mom both.
