“May the God of hope, fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

It is a gift to be sharing moments from Carissa & Thaddeus’ wedding day with all of you! This sweet couple is so special, and possess a joy that is truly rooted in our precious Lord 🤍

In reflecting on their wedding day, my heart keeps returning to the joy and gratitude that was present in their day. Carissa and Thad truly desired that their wedding day be one of thanksgiving and acknowledgment of the providence of God. While yes, this day was certainly for their sacrament, they had a deep awareness that none of this would have been possible without the work of God’s hand in their lives, and spent their wedding feast in abundant thanksgiving toward God our Father 💙

Three particularly meaningful pieces of their day that I have continued to turn back to are the sacred music, the care and thoughtfulness of Carissa and Thad, and the conclusion of the evening.

The music before the liturgy and during their nuptial mass was some of the most beautiful music I have ever encountered (possibly the most beautiful I have ever heard in my lifetime). It was rooted in praise and worship, with even the traditional mass parts being sung with this in mind, and was unlike anything I have ever encountered at a wedding before.

Then there was Carissa and Thad themselves. Their wedding day was truly a feast, they hosted almost 600 guests throughout the day! Despite this size, they really cared about encountering each guest personally, and found ways to love and care for each person individually in some way 🤍 They truly have servant hearts, and for two people to share this trait so similarly in a marriage is really special 💙

Finally, the end of their beautiful wedding day concluded in the most peaceful and moving of ways. In lieu of a grand sendoff, Carissa and Thad invited all of their guests into the church to honor God at the end of the night. Carissa’s brother and bridesmaid led their family and friends in praise and worship, and singing songs of thanksgiving toward God and blessing over Carissa and Thaddeus as they tearfully exited. It was the most intentional way to end such a beautiful and holy day, and really reflected the depth of love that Carissa and Thad have toward our Good Lord 🤍

Since a conclusion for this day feels so difficult to write, I will share the song of blessing that Carissa & Thad’s family and friends sang over them as they peacefully exited the church on their wedding night. May this continue to be sung over them throughout their lives, and bless those who read or hear them in years to come 🕊️

“May His favor be upon you,
And a thousand generations,
And your family, and your children,
And their children, and their children.

May His presence go before you,
And behind you, and beside you,
All around you, and within you,
He is with you, He is with you.

In the morning,
In the evening,
In your coming, and your going
In your weeping, and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you.”

“The Blessing” - Elevation Worship

P.s. I want to share a huge thank you to the wonderful Kristen Bruley, who used her beautiful gifts to help me serve for this day! You are a true artist, and I am so thankful for you!

“I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back...”

These are the words of the song playing when entering Emily’s room on her wedding morning. Peacefully moving. Gently preparing. Calmly entering into the day with our precious Lord. Family and friends happily entering on the level below. Light beaming in

I cannot say enough about this beautiful wedding day. There was such a peace and care to include Christ within it.

Articles of faith were intentionally brought and placed throughout Emily’s family’s rental home so that all who entered might be surrounded by Christ and His church. Emily’s mother signed up to host the replica of our Lady of Guadalupe in their Airbnb the whole week leading up to the wedding day, and Emily was able to spend time with this beautiful image before leaving for her wedding mass 🤍

Before mass, Lars shed tears over the thought of Emily and the fact that he gets to love her for the rest of his life 🤍 It was sincere, and personal, and really moving to encounter.

Their wedding mass was celebrated by clergy and religious who personally knew Emily and Lars, and travelled from their home towns and orders to serve in such a special way for their sacrament 🤍 Perhaps most special of all was Emily’s brother, Br. Philip, who is a religious brother and was able to be present for the day.

We had the prettiest New England weather for their portraits and cocktail hour, with beautiful sunshine and the loveliest breeze overlooking the ocean.

For the reception, Emily and Lars chose to name each table after a saint, and displayed an image of them and their story on the tables. And in a display of love and thoughtfulness, they surprised Lars’ brother and sister-in-law with a first dance of their own - as they were married in 2020 and never had the chance to have one 🤍

This day was such a wonderful testament of the love, care, and faith of Emily, Lars, and their beautiful families 🤍 It was an immense joy to be entrusted to serve them in such a special way. Emily and Lars, may Jesus bless them abundantly both now and always.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, please pray for us.
St. James the Apostle, please pray for us.

What an incredible blessing it is to witness couples become a family, and then watch those families grow 🤍 Kirsten and Maxwell first came to me for engagement photos two years ago. Our paths crossed again for their beautiful fall wedding last year, and now here they are with a precious little boy on the way. I am forever in awe of God’s providence and goodness, and so thankful for their desire to have me continue to serve them, despite us living states apart! Thank you Kirsten and Max, I hope you enjoy these beautiful sneak peeks as much as I enjoyed editing them 💙

What a gift to experience the joy of new life. The way it invites you to slow down. The way it brings family together to marvel and be more still. The way that, even in difficult moments, it calls upon the goodness within us to love better and stronger than we knew possible 🤍 And it was especially a gift to document the new little life of sweet Rosemary and all of her sweet brothers and sisters.

This family is incredibly special. They have a way of loving and welcoming that unknowingly heals, and this time with them touched a piece of my heart that I have not been tending to. They were kind, intentional, and thoughtful, and just loved their new little sister to pieces. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful opportunity to love and be loved through them 🤍 Thank you Heather and Joe for trusting me with this season of your lives, may Jesus bless you abundantly ❤️

It is a gift to be sharing a glimpse into Caroline and Reece’s sweet wedding day with you all 🤍 Something special about this day was how much Caroline and Reece loved, and how genuinely they were loved in return.

From the beginning of the day, there was a calm steadiness in each moment. It felt warm, welcoming, and full of peace. Reece’s family loved and embraced Caroline more than any family-to-be that I have ever encountered — loving her as if she was their own sister and daughter. Caroline’s father is a deacon, and witnessed her and Reece enter into the sacrament of marriage from the altar — a gift few parents have the opportunity to experience. Caroline’s sister and sister-in-law filled the church with music, and Reece’s parents brought single-serve ice creams and homemade cookies all the way from their home in Traverse City for family and friends to enjoy.

People were genuinely happy. There was a palpable peace, and I think that is a beautiful testament to Reece and Caroline’s love — and the hearts of their wonderful families 🤍

“You are the hope that leads me through the night.
My daily bread, the substance of my life.
Jesus messiah, redeemer of my heart,
My great defender, my Savior from the start.

Behold the King of Glory, isn’t He beautiful?
Behold the Lamb of Heaven seated on the highest throne.
The Lord in all His splendor, He is magnificent.
I’ve searched the world but never found another like Him”

My heart marvels at our precious Jesus 🤍 At His tender love that knows no bounds. How He sees us so individually in everything that we carry. Of Him truly present in that tiny white host all for the sake of unity with us.

This time with Jesus deeply impacted my heart. I pray an encounter with Him will also transform yours ❤️

Happy Feast of Corpus Christi 🤍

(If you would ever like to know more about this special feast or the Eucharist, I would genuinely love to share more with you 💙)

So happy to be sharing a glimpse into Molly DiCosola and Simon’s beautiful wedding day! If there are three words I could use to describe their day they would be: whimsical, joyous, and divine. Molly put so much heart and intentionality into each moment of their day, beautifully reflecting the light and beauty of her own heart 🤍 From the delicate flowers on her head, to the cheery pastels, to the little watercolors paintings of birds adorning the tables, everything was so uniquely beautiful.

Her and Simon’s love for Jesus was so evident, and was beautifully witnessed during their nuptial mass. I could scroll through these photos over and over again they are just that wonderful ❤️ Molly and Simon, thank you for the honor of being able to document your special day! It truly was a joy

As if out of a scene from “Love Story” itself, I present Nicole and Ignacio’s engagement photos 🤍 Set in the historical old-town Savannah (one of my favorite cities in the U.S.), Nicole’s dream of having classically elegant photos came to life in a place she grew up calling home. From the sprawling Live Oak trees with their majestic Spanish moss, to the iconic Forsyth Park fountain, to the stunning homes and staircases, it truly felt like each moment of this session was a dream - and a dream made with friends no less 🤍 It is going to be such a blessing to be a part of their sacrament next year, and I am truly so thankful to God for strangers who become acquaintances who become dear friends 🥹

Absolutely swooning over the beauty of spring and these stunning photos of Caeli and Henry (and their sweet little one!)🥹 I served these two for their beautiful wedding day last year, and was just so touched to be asked to document this sweet season of their lives before they officially welcomed their sweet little "Mercy" into the world! The sun popped out right as we walked into the daffodils, and I don't know if time as perfect as this could ever be recreated! Truly so so thankful to God for His goodness, and for each of the couples/families who allow me to capture their memories 🤍

Spring has sprung and forever holds a place as one of my favorite seasons to photograph in 🤍 The blossoming trees, the delicate spring blooms, there are just so many promises of new life and goodness. And it was such a joy to document Thiennga & Brian’s engagement during this beautiful season!

These two were just the sweetest to spend time with, and were so authentic and loving to one another. One of the sweetest parts of the session was witnessing Brian’s gentle tenderness toward Thiennga 🤍 You could feel how much he truly treasured her, and that reflected so beautifully in their ability to truly be themselves throughout the session. It was really a gift to spend such special time with them, and I genuinely cannot wait to document their beautiful wedding day this fall 🤍
