A little about the person behind the camera...

I'm happiest in a barn, on a back road headed somewhere new, or standing in a field waiting for perfect light.

I love horses that leave foot prints on your heart, dogs with too much personality, and photographs that feel like artwork hanging on a wall instead of files forgotten on a phone.

My own horses inspire much of what I create. They taught me patience, connection and how to see beauty in the smallest details.

So when I photograph your horse, your dog, or your family, I'm not just taking pictures. I'm creating something meant to be treasured long after the moment has passed.

Even when a session has a practical purpose…like headshots... I can't always resist adding a little storytelling.

I'll get the photographs we came for, but when I see the light, the setting, a moment happening...I have to take that one too.

Like the cat.

Because sometimes the unplanned moments end up being part of the story too.

📚 Instructional post: “You paid for the photos — now make sure you’re getting the best quality.”

* Download to a computer when possible — phones can sometimes save a smaller/social-media version depending on the gallery settings.

* Don’t screenshot your photos — a screenshot is not the original file and can significantly reduce quality.

If you’re printing a photo for your wall, I always recommend downloading the full-resolution image and letting a professional print lab handle the printing. The lab I use is calibrated for photographic printing, uses professional papers and equipment, and gives you a much better chance of getting the color, detail and quality I intended.

If you want to order prints, you can do so through the gallery, however if you are considering a canvas, please get with me as I’m currently ordering them through a different system and lab.
