Someone asked me the other day if I missed Margo. It took me by surprise. I thought about it and said, “how could I not?” Margo gave me something I’d never before had, a sense of self. If you know the story, you’re asking how in the world could I miss her after all that happened. It’s simple really, Margo was the best friend I’d ever had. Yes, yes, I know, I learned many lessons with Margo. However, the soul filling gifts she bestowed upon me can never be forgotten. Margo gave me myself and, in the end, it was the best gift ever. I will be forever grateful. At the end of the day, part of me wants to believe all the good, the fun, the adventure, the connection, were real.
