So this was a super last minute cosplay idea I wanted to do before FanExpo (so I could show Yaya Han :p) I made the entire thing on the fly and it took me around 2 weeks. The staff was literally done the day before and I was waiting for paint to dry before I put it in my car to drive to Toronto the morning of the con :/

This was first attempt at armor and I am quite pleased with the results; I think I did Yugi's fav card justice n.n

I use hot glue here to attach eva foam together because I had it and it's fast and easy. If you have the time I would recommend contact cement as it makes a stronger bond and there is less cleanup

I contacted Evil FX Props & Armor for advice in making certain aspects of this armor and I recommend checking out his stuff - he's amazing and super nice!

After all of the paint was done for the armor and staff I applied a clear coat to seal everything

Paints:
Purple: Krylon Shimmer Metallic Spray - purple
Pink trim: Wild Orchid acrylic paint
Green: Krylon Shimmer Metallic Spray - green
Teal trim: Native Turquoise acrylic paint
Clear coat: Krylon crystal clear gloss
