For years, she chose what felt safest.

To feel it.
To trust it.

And when it did… it moved quickly.

In a way that was fully, undeniably hers.

Some births remind me why flexibility and intuition matter so much in this work.

Labor can bring unexpected emotions and experiences to the surface, and sometimes the most supportive path looks very different than what anyone originally planned.

My role as a doula is never to protect the birth plan. It is to protect the mother and help ensure her experience remains safe, supported, and respectful.

Birth is physical, but it is deeply emotional too. And caring for both matters.
