Here lately you can find me behind my camera, or behind my computer screen editing pictures. Tonight consisted of both. I couldn't wait until tomorrow to share a few sneak peaks of the first part of this senior session tonight!

Tonight I had the craziest thing happen. I drove 30 minutes to do a senior session. The client gets there and messages me they are there, I respond that I am too. They don’t get out of the car so I message saying what car I’m in. I get a response back that her daughter is mad because this isn’t the location she thought it was and she refused to get out of the car. The location was discussed multiple times and changed based off what they wanted. They agreed to this location, and I even sent pictures of a session I had done there so they could see what it looked like. They then drove off.

I feel like I am very accommodating. I charge way less than most professional photographers because I want to be affordable for people who may not be able to normally get pictures done. I go out of my way to make sure sessions are successful and do anything I can for my clients. To be taken advantage of tonight was really disheartening.

Teach your kids, especially ones about to be going out into the real world, to respect people’s time. I’m even upset with the adult, because she could’ve gotten out of the car and talked to me in person. Maybe the place she thought we were going was close and we could’ve adjusted, but instead I get a quick text and they drove off.

From here on out, I think I will be making some changes. I might have to implement a non refundable deposit to protect myself. It’s so unfortunate to have to do that, but my time is valuable.

I love what I do and appreciate all of my clients ❤️
