Tattoo, Revisited

Some photographs deserve another look; not because they were wrong, but because I’ve grown since first editing them.

Each revisit teaches me something - not just about light, color, or technique, but about what I was trying to say.

With Tattoo, I stripped away the unnecessary until only the conversation between Stella, the blossoms, and the light remained.

That’s what I chase.

Not perfection.

PUPDATE!
GFKC FastCAT photos for Saturday, 5/30 will be live tonight. Please be advised, the platform I use, SmugMug, has difficulty with uploads of several hundred photos at one time, so that I need to close out of it and upload the whole folder again SEVERAL times to get what is considered "errored" (which they aren't) into the gallery; you may see some more trickle through tomorrow. Sunday's will be live tomorrow.
