I know you've probably seen this photo before, but I'm going to share it again anyway.

Not because I ran out of photos. Not because it's recent. But because this image represents so much of what I've worked for as a photographer.

What you see is a couple deeply in love, dancing on a hill at sunset with rolling countryside behind them and cows peacefully grazing in the distance. What you don't see is the driveway hidden just behind that hill. You don't see me moving around, searching for the perfect angle to eliminate distractions and let the scene tell the story.

Everything came together that evening: the light, the landscape, the sky, the emotion, and a couple who made every moment feel effortless.

This image reminds me that photography isn't just about pressing a button. It's about seeing possibilities where others might not, finding beauty in the details, and creating something that feels timeless.

Years later, I'm still proud of this one.

I will be catching up on all of the business messages and emails over the next few days!

I apologize for falling a little behind. There's just A LOT going on: my kiddo going on summer break, me starting summer fast track courses at Wright State, various doctor appointments, the wedding of my best friend, and all the other stuff that makes you wonder why there are ONLY 24 hours in a day. 😅 It has been absolute nonstop chaos.

Just a reminder that my current model call for Kindled Ash Photography LLC is still open! 🖤

I’ll be accepting applications for all categories through Saturday, May 30th, and selected individuals/couples will be contacted individually after submissions close.

These sessions are completely free of charge and are a great opportunity to create together while helping me update my portfolio.

If you know someone who may be interested — especially couples — feel free to tag them or send them my way!

I am currently looking to update and expand my portfolio and am searching for models for the following sessions:

📸 2–3 couples for standard portrait sessions
🌈 LGBTQ+ couples absolutely welcome
🖤 1–2 women for outdoor bo***ir sessions
🐍 Bonus if you are comfortable posing with a snake!
🔥 1 outdoor bo***ir couple session

ABOUT THE MODEL CALL:
• Sessions are FREE
• Models will receive 5–10 edited digital images + print release
• Sessions will take place outdoors in/around Troy, OH (exact locations discussed privately)
• Sessions will be scheduled between May–July 2026
• Privacy plans will be discussed in advance for bo***ir sessions
• Models must be semi-flexible with scheduling/weather adjustments
• Models must be 18+
• Body positive, inclusive, and judgment-free environment for all bodies, identities, and couples 🖤
• Wardrobe guidance/styling assistance will be provided
• Images may be shared on social media, but credit/tags are always appreciated
• Images may NOT be altered in any way (filters, heavy edits, cropping, etc.)
• These sessions are specifically for portfolio/marketing purposes, so all selected models MUST sign a model release contract permitting image use for advertising/social media/website content
• If you are not comfortable with public image usage, please do not apply
• Must be willing to travel to or near Troy, OH 45373
