A personal note from Barry:
I appreciate everyone's support of my photography this past year, and would like to give you an update on my work. I’ve always been passionate about photography and art in general, which led me to open a gallery of my own. The Open House at the end of January 2015 and all of the visitors since have been inspiring for me. Now I find myself in a different phase and have decided to transform the Shapiro Galerie space into an architecture-design studio. I will continue to make photographs that capture the spirit and beauty of people and places, and find new ways to share them with you (a new personal website is in the making).
