After years of taking pictures of my kids, I realized that I wanted more then just a picture of them smiling. I wanted to see in the picture all the little things I took for granted. The way their smile changes when I talk to them about their favorite super hero. I then realized that I wanted to further my education in Photography to assist in creating these beautiful images that would provide me
with a completeness that I wouldn't be able to receive in a standard staged image at a local store. After receiving my Bachelor's in Photography from the University of Arizona, I was able to focus more on my style of Photography. One day, after many years of marriage I looked at my wedding pictures, and I pulled out my favorite pictures, that's when I realized that my favorites weren't the ones that were staged or the ones that had been made to look like a fairytale wedding. The ones that brought a smile to my face were all the ones that were taken spontaneously. With every picture of some one dancing, laughing, joking, drinking, and just being themselves, it made me feel like I was there. And that my wedding was just the most wonderful time of my life. Although you can see that I can take pictures that are traditional, my strength is seizing the moments that only happen with true love, happiness, and kindness. Why take ordinary pictures with loved ones when every moment is extraordinary!
