I liked the pattern on the beach and the door handle. It seemed a bit odd to have you grasp a snake to enter the mission though. The lion seems somehow extra regal against those clouds looking over the San Xavier del Bac mission. The altar has added presence with a 16mm lens and high resolution.

I've been wandering a bit, taking in Anza-Borrego with some flowers at sunrise and the amazing dragon in Galleta Meadows. Moonrise at Font's Point and a sunset at Camp Pendleton. The B&W was just wandering around with a fish-eye lens.

I'm back from an outstanding workshop in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park with Mark Denny and Tommy White. Aside from the beautiful setting, the assistance and instruction from these guys really influenced my photography and the encyclopedic memory of locations ensured we always had a great place to shoot. This is a small sample and I'll be posting more in the near future.

I just came back from a trip with Paul where we tried to get into King's Canyon and Sequoia NP. No luck due to an early season storm that required chains on the van. So, we headed off to Death Valley and the Alabama hills then to the Valley of Fire. These are a few from the trip.
