Saturday afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful young lady and her handsome boyfriend for their 8th grade Prom Dance. Of course, it started raining just a few minutes before the session began and The University of the South is a very popular place on prom day.
I can't wait to photograph them again, thank you Avaley & Kyler.

Last Saturday evening, I met a few Southern Divas at Oasis Steakhouse for a impromptu meeting with a new member. It just so happened that Escape Band was playing, and my camera had to go with me.
I enjoyed taking pictures of them due to their high energy and dancing vibes. Sometimes that can be a problem, it's hard to hold the camera steady while dancing and clicking that shutter button. Haha!
It was also nice for them to allow me on stage to get pictures of the drummer. Those poor guys rarely get their picture taken because they're hidden.
If you ever get a chance to see an exciting energetic, dancing type band then you must go see Escape Band.

For the past few days, I've been photographing fruit. I've turned my living room into a studio and playing with my lighting. The first few pictures I've worked with my Westcott 36" softbox without a filter. Then decided to bring in my Westcott Speedlight with a grid, and placed an orange filter on my softbox. I, also have a white bounce to the right of the picture and a silver bounce on the left side.
The pictures have been posted in low resolution that’s why if you enlarge them they look out of focus but I can confirm they aren’t.
I really enjoy working with table top. Hope you enjoy viewing these pictures.

Last Saturday evening, went to VFW to watch Wyld Fire Band play. I haven't seen Michael and Rhea Yancy in many years as well as I haven't photographed a band in a long, long time.
You guys keep on rocking as long as possible because you still got the vibes.

Sunday, I had the privilege to photograph this beautiful, young lady Aubyrne for her Christmas Senior Portraits.
At the beginning, she told me she wasn't a fan of getting her picture taken but as I started acting silly; she warmed up quickly and became a wonderful model. Thank you Betsy for reaching out to me. You have a lovely daughter and I can't wait until Spring.

In April, took a ride to Rock Island after the big rain we received to see the flow of the river. It was definitely flowing with much force behind it and the sound of the water was vibrating. The sky was so dark and eerie, which made the experience even more electrifying.
Then drove on the back roads and captured a few landscape pictures. Hope you enjoy!
