There was something really special about these private vows 🥹

We stepped away so Alejandra and Matt could have a few quiet minutes beneath their chuppah before the ceremony began. They laughed, cried, hugged each other, and for a little while the wedding day stood still.

Afterward, Alejandra told me the fabric above them was her dad’s tallit 🥹

I got chills. I couldn’t stop thinking about everywhere that tallit had been before this moment… and now it was part of this one too.

What an incredible way to begin a marriage.

I don’t think I’ll ever stop believing that details matter.

Not because your guests will remember every flower, but because you’ll remember how it felt to walk into a room that looked exactly like the one you’d been dreaming about 🫶🏻

Alejandra and Matt’s reception was timeless. Every bloom, every table, every thoughtful detail came together so beautifully thanks to Callie & Sarah’s talented team. But if you make it to the last photo, you’ll find my favorite detail of the day 🥹

Alejandra wore her mom’s vintage wedding shoes and her diamond wedding necklace. I love beautiful weddings, but it’s the pieces that carry a family’s story that always stay with me.

I have a feeling I will be talking about this wedding for a long time.

Maybe it was the energy. Maybe it was the people. Maybe it was the fact that every time I turned around something meaningful was happening. Maybe it was Alejandra choosing to wear her mother’s wedding shoes.

I think bridal sessions are one of the most underrated parts of the wedding experience.

People often think of them as a test run for hair and makeup, but after photographing weddings for over a decade, I think they serve a much bigger purpose. It’s usually the first time a bride gets to slow down and fully see herself in this season of life.

No timeline. No guests waiting. No pressure. Just space to settle into it all.

By the time the wedding day arrives, she’s no longer wondering what it will feel like to wear the dress or step in front of the camera. She’s already done it once, and that confidence changes everything.
