Storytelling Photography

Is when the images capture the essence of life.

Instead of posed portraits which capture the story of what someone LOOKS LIKE at a specific stage or date.

Storytelling is about documenting whats happening in that life. What you did, what you wore, how they played, where you were, what you believe, what they see, and mostly how you felt.

A backyard session is a candid, storytelling photo session that relates to your family.
For some people that may look like splashing in a sprinkler or jumping on a trampoline, while mom and dad watch.

All the best memories happen in the backyard. This way you can to be in them too.

There’s been many haircuts in this bathroom over the years! ✂️(IYKYK) I think my nephew was a little shocked at what was happening.

It was his first haircut from his Uncle. I don’t think he knew it was going to be a “REAL” haircut. But he was having a blast and loved his new haircut.

Pretty sure there was a “MOM” right after I took this clip.

I am ready to lay in a hammock by the lake and watch the sunset though.
