Well, that’s a wrap.

Not to be dramatic, but my website has officially retired, my final email to subscribers has been sent, and this little photography chapter is coming to a close (well minus the sessions that are already on the calendar) 🤍

As I look back over the last nine years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Being invited into your lives never felt like just taking pictures. It felt like sitting front row to your stories, watching families grow, and celebrating milestones right alongside you. That is something that will stay with me forever.

Thank you for cheering me on, praying for me, and giving me words of encouragement as I step into this next season of being a nurse. Who know, maybe one day you’ll spot me in scrubs instead of behind a camera, or helping you welcome your newest little love into the world as your L&D nurse instead of photographing them a week later. Life has a funny way of bringing things full circle.

And just because I’m not your photographer anymore doesn’t mean you become a stranger. Send me photos of those growing kiddos, family updates, or just a random text to say hi. I’ve watched so many of your babies become big kids, and I’m really going to miss being a small part of your stories.

Until then, hug your babies a little tighter, take all the photos, and don’t wait for the perfect moment.

Three girls, two church camps, and a whole lot of stuff packed!

Today, we are headed off to church camp. It’s Nora’s first time and my first time as a leader, so we’re both stepping into something new this week. I’m excited to see what God does, the friendships that are made, and the memories that will come from these next few days.

Just a heads up—I’ll be mostly out of service and unplugged from work while we’re away. I won’t be returning messages, emails, or texts until Thursday.

See y’all on the other side of camp!

Attention June babies...

I'm hosting a Newborn Workshop on June 13th and need a sweet little babe to be our model! This is an educational mentoring session with other photographers so session is heavily discounted - $150 due at booking

Here's the details:
June 13th 10:00-12:30
Catoosa Sunflower Farm Studio

• Baby will need to be between 7-21 days on 6/13
• Both parents must be available, siblings are welcome
• Must sign Model Release for images to be shared online by myself and mentoring photographer
• Willing to purchase clothing items for session, I will provide a style guide for guidance. Newborn items will be provided.
• You will receive all edited digitals delivered in an online gallery with print release.

To apply send an email to [email protected] with your due date, phone number, ages of siblings if applicable, and a photo of your family. Due to the number of applications received I may not be able to reply to all applicants.

Something really magical happens when creatives come together.

These two are musicians, and somehow this entire session felt like a song — soft, soulful, effortless. They have the kind of love that fills the room without trying.

I only have a handful of maternity sessions left before my little time away, and honestly I'm already emotional thinking about how much I'm going to miss documenting this season for families. I'm going to miss a baby bump at sunset in a field of flowy golden grass.

If you're expecting a little babe soon, I have a tew evenings left on my calendar in May or June for a sweet summer evening maternity session.

Can we just get a round of applause for this mama that said "I got this" and picked up the frog like an absolute champ-because sometimes motherhood looks like being the brave one even when you're definitely not feeling it.

These are the moments I love most during family sessions-real, unscripted, a little wild, and full of laughter.
