A little behind the lens.

This was a self portrait taken in Edinburgh, Scotland in mid-May 2024. My goal with this photo was to capture myself just IN Scotland, journaling about our travels, and just living.
Every time I see this photo I can smell the flowers that were around me, feel the bite of cold that was in the air, conjure up the view I was looking at.
The photo does what it was intended to do. Transport me instantly back in time to a certain moment, a specific memory, emotions and feelings return instantly.

Photography is truly amazing. 📷
