Some moments in a photographer’s career feel like a full circle.

45 years behind the camera and I still get inspired like a student.

Throughout my photography career I’ve been deeply inspired by these two artists whose work shaped the way I see light, storytelling, and the emotion through a lens.

Recently I had the privilege of meeting Annie Leibovitz and Jerry Ghionis, two photographers who have influenced my work for years. Being able to talk with them, thank them, and have them sign their books for me was a moment I will always treasure.

After what feels like a lifetime behind the camera, moments like this still mean everything.🙌

I first photographed Joy when she was a tiny dancer at the studio

Today, she stands here as a high school senior — graceful, strong, and still carrying that same light that made everyone notice her from the very beginning.

Watching her grow, both on and off the stage, has been one of the quiet privileges of this work.This isn’t just a portrait — it’s a chapter in a story I’ve had the honor of witnessing unfold.
