Got to capture Ev's last OWA State Greco-Roman competition this last Sunday.

Got her first ever 5pt throw! Something shes been practicing for months. Couldn't be more proud of that kid and all the work shes put in over the years. Sad to see the season come to a close, but excited for what's next.

So proud of my senior tonight! She accomplished one of her biggest goals by winning her Regional Championship and punching her fourth straight ticket to State.
The last two days were full of tough competition, but all the hard work she’s put in this season showed in her grit, strength, and determination on the mat. Watching her growth over the years has been incredible.

Now we set our sights on State at the end of the month — can’t wait to see what’s next for her! 💙

Tonight marked a historic milestone for the Sprague girls wrestling program. The team celebrated its first-ever regional champion and saw three athletes punch their tickets to the State Championships at the end of the month.

Every wrestler contributed to the moment — a season’s worth of preparation, resilience, and determination was on full display as the girls competed with grit and left everything on the mat.

Senior Night hits a little different when it’s your own kid on the mat and tonight Im going to brag alittle bit.....

Tonight, I got to watch my daughter compete in her last home dual as a senior—four years after she first stepped onto the mat as a freshman with zero experience and no idea what the sport would demand of her. The growth since then has been nothing short of remarkable. She’s put in work, learned the grind, complained only some of the time and transformed not just as a wrestler, but as a leader—now mentoring others and passing on the lessons she’s earned along the way.

As a mom, I couldn’t be more proud of the athlete she’s become and the person she continues to be. Every match, every setback, every win has shaped her journey, and she’s handled it all with grit and heart, and only a slight flare for the dramatic. Senior night is a celebration of everything she’s accomplished and I can’t wait to see where her drive and determination take her next.

Sprague brought the heat yesterday at the Hood River Girls Invitational, competing against a field of more than 36 schools. With stacked brackets and no easy matches, the girls battled through every round with grit and determination. Six athletes represented Sprague, three placing and two found their way onto the podium; an impressive showing and a strong statement against top-tier competition.

It was a privilege to capture the Sprague boys in action Wednesday night as they went head-to-head with one of the Valley’s toughest programs in Sweet Home. With intense competition from start to finish, the Olympians battled through every match and left it all on the mat, using the dual as another opportunity to sharpen their skills. With Sweet Home boasting some of the toughest talent in the state, the Olympians knew they’d be in for a battle—but Sprague rose to the occasion, matching the intensity from the opening whistle and using the dual as a high-level tune-up.
