💙💛 Stayton Eagles Volleyball Senior Night! 💛💙

Tuesday evening was a special night for the Stayton Eagles Volleyball program as we celebrated eight incredible seniors and recognized their dedication, achievements, and contributions to the sport they love.

Senior Night is about more than the games played or the victories earned. It's a celebration of years of hard work, countless hours of practice, friendships built, challenges overcome, and memories that will last long after the final whistle.

Surrounded by family, friends, teammates, and coaches, these eight young women were honored for the impact they've made both on and off the court. We celebrate not only the athletes they've become, but the remarkable young women they are and the exciting futures ahead of them.

Congratulations to our eight Eagles seniors!

Friday night lights wouldn't be quite the same without the energy, enthusiasm, and incredible school spirit brought to the stands by the Stayton Eagles Pep Band!

Through every touchdown, defensive stand, and nail-biting moment, these talented musicians keep the atmosphere alive and the Eagle pride going strong.

A big shoutout to these talented students for bringing the music, the energy, and the Eagle spirit week after week! 💙💛

Friday night was about more than just football as the Stayton Eagles Cheer Team welcomed some very special guests to the center field!

After hosting a youth cheer camp the week prior, the Eagles cheerleaders had the opportunity to share the spotlight with the next generation of Eagle spirit during a special halftime performance.

From our seasoned cheerleaders to the youngest future Eagles, the field was filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and plenty of school pride as these young athletes showed off everything they'd learned!

It was a wonderful opportunity for the younger girls to experience the excitement of Friday night lights while learning from the cheerleaders they look up to.

Friday night, the Stayton Eagles took on Central under the lights in an intense offensive and defensive showdown.

From hard-hitting defensive stops to explosive offensive plays, the Eagles battled through a challenging matchup, giving it their all until the final whistle.

While the 37–21 loss wasn't the outcome Stayton had hoped for, the scoreboard doesn't tell the whole story. The Eagles showed determination, grit, and heart as they pushed through adversity and competed to the very end.

Every game brings an opportunity to learn, adjust, and come back stronger.

The Eagles hit the road to take on the Cascade Cougars next week on the 16th

Win or lose, Eagle pride runs deep.

The Stayton Girls Varsity Volleyball team hit the road last night to take on the Philomath Warriors, returning home with a well-earned victory!

Showing grit and impressive teamwork, the Lady Eagles brought the fire to the court! With strong communication, coordinated plays, and relentless energy, these girls demonstrated just how dangerous they can be when they're on fire.

Another road victory in the books, and another step forward as the Lady Eagles continue building momentum toward postseason State playoffs.

Tuesday evening, the Stayton Boys Varsity Soccer team faced off against Cascade in what proved to be one of their toughest and most challenging matchups of the season so far.

Despite a hard-fought battle, the Eagles fell to the Cougars in a narrow 3:2 defeat. While the final score wasn't the outcome they had hoped for, the match provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth as the team continues to sharpen its skills and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Throughout the match, the Eagles demonstrated defensive determination, resilience, and a willingness to fight until the final whistle. Even in defeat, there is plenty to take away from a game that tested their composure, adaptability, and ability to perform under pressure.

With plenty of soccer still to be played, the Eagles have every opportunity to regroup, make adjustments, and come back stronger. And with the postseason drawing closer, there's a very real possibility these two teams will cross paths again in the pursuit of a State Championship.

One loss doesn't define a season. What comes next just might.

Had the exceptional opportunity to capture individual and team photos for our local Stayton Youth Football team - and talk about some of the smallest players with the BIGGEST personalities on the field!

These kids showed up ready to pose, ready to play, and with enough confidence to fill an entire stadium.

There’s something pretty special about watching the next generation of athletes step onto the field with this much excitement, determination, and personality. From the serious game faces to the larger-than-life smiles, this was such a fun group to photograph.

Keep an eye on these little Eagles…they may be small now, but they’re already dreaming BIG!

I had the honor and privilege of capturing the Stayton Varsity Girls Soccer team under the lights last night as they took on Newport — and these Lady Eagles were absolutely fierce on the turf.

Stayton played with precision, confidence, and grace from start to finish, controlling the pace of the match and working together seamlessly on both sides of the ball. Their relentless attack was matched by an equally strong defensive effort, keeping Newport off the board and securing a 4–0 victory and a clean sheet.

As league play begins to wind down, the Lady Eagles continue to build momentum at exactly the right time. With the postseason just a few weeks away, every match brings them one step closer to their goal of making a run at State.

Next up, Stayton takes on Cascade as they head into the final stretch of the regular season.

Great game, ladies!!!
