When you hire me to be your photographer, I take it very personally. I'm not simply taking anybody's picture, I'm capturing YOUR life, YOUR smile, YOUR memories. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera as I possibly can. Do you hate having your picture taken? I get it. That's why I will do my very best to make this as painless a process for you as possible. I

hate awkward silences and I hate not understanding what I'm supposed to do with myself. I'm going to make sure all the things I hate do not happen to you during one of our sessions. Above all else, I want us to HAVE FUN! Because when we're having fun and we're all relaxed, that's when your "good side" shines through. (And yes, you do have a good side).

Every year around this time, I start talking about fall senior photos and I know some people are thinking, "Already?!"
But there is a reason for it. 🍂

Fall is one of the most popular times of year for senior photos in Oklahoma. The weather is beautiful, the trees are colorful, and everyone loves the cozy sweaters, boots, and layers that come with the season.

The challenge is that peak fall color only sticks around for a short time, and many seniors are hoping for those same few weeks on the calendar.

At the same time, life gets busy fast with football games, homecoming, activities, college applications, jobs, and yearbook deadlines.

Before you know it, October has arrived and the calendar looks very different than it did in July.

👉👉👉Class of 2027, if fall senior photos are part of your vision for senior year, planning ahead is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.

If it feels like photographers start talking about fall senior photos ridiculously early... this is why. 🍂

Fall is hands-down the most popular season for senior photos in Oklahoma.

The weather is cooler.
The outfits are adorable.
The leaves show off for a few short weeks.
And suddenly everyone wants the same evenings on the calendar.

Add in football games, homecoming, college visits, jobs, activities, and yearbook deadlines, and those fall dates have a way of disappearing fast.

This isn’t meant to stress you out. Promise. 😅

It’s just your friendly reminder that if colorful trees, cozy outfits, and all the fall vibes are your dream senior session, it’s a good idea to plan ahead.

☀️ There's just something about summer.

The later sunsets. The warm evenings. The "let's go take pictures" texts. 💛

That's exactly what inspired my Fields & Friends sessions.

These are short, relaxed photo sessions designed for best friends, sisters, couples, or anyone who wants to celebrate this season of life with beautiful photos you'll still love years from now.

Lately life has looked a little different around here (aka cray-cray).
There was vacation, a camera roll full of memories, editing sessions I can't wait to share, and a new puppy named Hank who has quickly become convinced that my full-time job is supervising his adventures. 🐶

In the middle of all that, I realized it's been a while since I've simply said thank you!

And most of all, thank you to every client who has trusted me with your senior photos, branding sessions, family memories, and milestones over the years.

Running a small business is equal parts exciting, rewarding, exhausting, and occasionally fueled entirely by coffee and determination. The support from this community truly means more than I can put into words.

They choose your personality.
Your values.
Your process.
Your approach.
The experience of working with you.

That's why I believe great branding photos are about so much more than getting a few professional headshots. They should show what it's like to work with you, who you serve, and what makes your business uniquely yours.

September is one of my ✨favorite✨ months for branding sessions...Why? Because life tends to settle back into a rhythm.

The kids are back in school. Summer vacations are winding down. Schedules start feeling a little more predictable again.
(It's also that sweet spot before the holiday rush sneaks up.)

September gives you time to refresh your website, create content, update marketing materials, and actually use your new photos before things get busy.

Plus, you'll head into the new year with a library of fresh images already ready to go!
