“Does the reason why you’re tired bring you joy?”

I heard this question recently and it grounded me instantly. I have sometimes 4 weddings in one weekend, each wedding ranges from 10-12 hours on wedding site, averaging 2.5 hours driving one way, driving back or sleeping in a hotel, editing their sneak peeks, backing up their photos and then working what feels like all day every day during the week to ensure I have this work on the weekends. So yes I’m tired…

But it brings me so much joy. So praise God.

The Lords faithfulness has been represented to me in a new way through the new Mr & Mrs Sargent. These two love Jesus boldly and their wedding was a testament of the life they’ve lived and the life they will live together!

First out of state wedding was a success!!!

Most of what I do on a wedding day is small, but it matters.

It’s the little things—fixing flyaways, clearing distractions, making sure everyone looks their best, adjusting when the timeline shifts, organizing your gallery so it actually makes sense when you go back through it. None of it is meant to stand out.

Honestly, it’s my joy to take care of those things so you don’t have to think about them. If they’re handled well, you won’t remember them at all—you’ll just remember how the day felt.

That’s the goal. You stay present, enjoy what’s in front of you, and trust that the details are being taken care of.
