And... if you like seeing old warbirds up close, there is a display of them at the Tyler Airport this coming Saturday. I can draw and paint and have been using AI to create images to illustrate some of the unique experiences I’ve had in my life. Here’s one I created and finished yesterday, to illustrate an experience I had 50 years ago yesterday morning, when I was 18 years old, doing my National Service in the Rhodesian Army Infantry. We had many close encounters with dangerous wild animals and this was early in the morning with a Cape Buffalo.

AI, at present, is great with fantasy, where details don’t matter, but very difficult to get something technically correct. I had to do a heap of editing and painting over this one using ProCreate, Photoshop and Corel Painter 23 to fix multiple problems, then, did my final tweaking in Lightroom.

This finished result illustrates the ambiance of what us four boys experienced extremely well.
