Yesterday was one of those wedding days we’ll remember for a long time. 🤍
Emilie and Seth were the perfect combination of calm, kind, and absolutely amazing. Even with the rain rolling in right before the ceremony, they trusted the process and simply embraced the moment.

While the rain gave us a little pause, we took the opportunity to create some stunning editorial-inspired indoor portraits — and honestly, the result was pure magic.

And then, just like that, the skies cleared! We were able to move forward with the entire wedding outdoors, creating the beautiful celebration they had envisioned.

This bridal editorial at Massanutten Resort was designed to inspire couples dreaming of a timeless wedding surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set on the golf course with sweeping mountain views, the ceremony and reception designs embraced effortless romance and refined details.

Lush summer florals filled with rich greenery, crisp white blooms, and touches of soft purple created an organic color palette that felt both elevated and inviting.

Yesterday’s engagement session in Old Town Alexandria reminded me that sometimes the best moments happen when the weather doesn’t go according to plan. Yesterday’s wedding proved that rain can’t wash away joy.
The skies opened up, the rain poured nonstop, and somehow it only made everything feel more romantic. Under the tent, surrounded by laughter, dancing, and so much love, the energy was absolutely unreal.
Some weddings are beautiful because everything goes perfectly. Others are beautiful because everyone embraces the moment exactly as it comes — and this was one of those unforgettable. Rain-soaked, joy-filled, and completely magical.
