I don't typically photograph weddings but I decided to shoot this one for this sweet couple! Hurricane Michael might have postponed us for a few weeks, but it was a beautiful day! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Fallin!

I have to share a little piece of my heart with y'all this afternoon... All the time, people ask me why I decided to pursue photography as a career. For the first few months as a "professional," I would tell them that it was because I love photography, but it's so much more than that.

I am a photographer for moments like this. Without a camera, this sweet moment between a daddy and his boy never would have been remembered. It was just a fleeting moment, wasn't it? It was, but it is so much more. 20 years from now, when his little boy is a grown man, this daddy will have these memories to look back on.

I am a photographer because the little moments are important. I am a photographer because I love to see the look on people's faces when they see their images for the first time. I am a photographer because I love knowing that these families feel so much joy each time they walk by the little glimpses of time hanging on their walls. I am a photographer because I love creating memories.

When everything else is gone, photos and memories are all we have left. THAT is why I am a photographer.

Can y'all believe Christmas is only 88 days away!? Today, I am super excited to announce my Christmas Mini Sessions! These sessions will be held in Unadilla (setup photos coming soon) and are $50 with 3 digital images included and additional photos or prints available for purchase. Join me on November 10th or 11th for a fun 20 minute session and refreshments!

It's amazing the way a little time and a lot of hard can change things! Before and after photos are some of my favorites because they show what you see when I take a photo versus what I see. I do this because I want to give people a piece of art that they can hang on the wall and cherish for years to come!❤️
