Project Hail Mary: The Friendship We Didn't Know We Needed, The Movie That Reminded Me Why I Love This

9.82/10 – Castaway meets Sunshine meets Arrival, but somehow warmer, funnier, and more sincere than all of them. A deeply speculative story about connection that made me believe in movies again.

Found this today: "𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯." on a perfectly serendipitous parking meter. 💁🏾
It felt like a public service announcement from the universe. 🌌
We treat our cars, 🚙 our plants, 🪴 our meters ⚠️ with more consistent care than we often treat ourselves. 😓 We think because we’re strong, because we can survive neglect, 🙇🏾 that we don’t need the daily deposit of grace, the constant watering of compassion.🏺
But self-love is the currency of a peaceful life. ☮️ You have to feed it. 🌻 You have to nourish it. 🍶 You have to listen when your body and heart whisper (or scream 🗣) what they need. 💗
This is my reminder to you... and to me... to pay the meter. 🅿️ Water the plant. 🌵 Do the small, daily thing. 🫂
