Over the summer, I had the honor of receiving a Community Service Award, and honestly, I’m still humbled by it.

I don’t do what I do for clicks, recognition, or fame. I simply love my community, and I’m grateful that I’ve been able to use my photography to capture its people, its moments, and its stories.

To everyone who thought I was deserving of this award, thank you. I truly appreciate it more than I can put into words.
This is an honor I will never take lightly, and one I’ll never forget. ❤️

Yesterday, I took a photo walk through Connellsville, PA.

My father and grandfather were both from Connellsville, and my family has a lot of rich history rooted in this community. I don’t get to Connellsville as often as I’d like, so I’m really glad I stopped through and took the time to explore it with my camera.

One thing I discovered is just how colorful Connellsville is. It has art EVERYWHERE. Around nearly every nook and cranny, you’ll find a mural, a painting, or some other expression of creativity. Even the older cars sitting around town seem to add to Connellsville’s unique vintage charm.

There’s something special about walking through a place with so much history and discovering the beauty that’s still woven into its streets.

I’m excited to share just some of the photos I was able to capture while walking the streets of Connellsville. 📸

Nepa Valley Bloom & Brew Co.

Always such a great time when I stop buy Nepa Valley.

Watching them work, and how they know everyones names, and seem to have a relationship with each person. My bro, Dan and I sat there had a convo with them for like 30mins.

Theses are the places I LOVE to support, and they should be around forever.

Photos from the Unity in the Community Festival at the Historic Grant Street Park here in Uniontown PA.

Also took some photos of the Darwin L. Ramsey All-Star Basketball game, and those guys put on a show!

Phil Mosley took the MVP trophy with an unreal performance and was scorching hot from 3 the whole night, congrats bro!

An amazing time was had down Grant, from school supplies to food, games, workouts, basketball, music, vendors, everything was amazing.

A big thank you to 2024 selection Tiffany Watkins-Blaho for making it happen, you've always been about town, especially the East End, and we thank you!

Also I've had multiple people ask whose behind Aopvisuals. Its Melvin Morgan Jr. A.K.A, Me, just so yall know.
