The Bad Habits Lounge Studio had another outstanding day at the Downtown Fort Walton Beach Florida Saturday Market at Landing Park on the banks of the picturesque Santa Rosa Sound - This exciting market is held twice a month on the 2nd & 4th Saturday in the heart of historic City of Fort Walton Beach from 8 am to 1 pm.

“Bitte ein Bit” – “Abends Bit Morgans Fit” - This is the best beer in the world, but I’m biased – My first assignment in the Air Force was Bitburg Air Base, West Germany 1977-79 – Bitburg is a small village in the middle of the country at its western extreme, near Luxembourg, Belgium and France – 13 miles from Echternach, Luxembourg, 19 miles from Trier on the Mosel River and 32 miles from Lommersweiler, Belgium – The smell of the brewery was always in the air, but most prominently when it was foggy trapping the intoxicating hoppy aroma for all to enjoy – Every Gasthaus had Bitburger on tap which was served in an elegant stemmed glass with a circular paper doily on top of the base of the glass – It took 7 minutes to properly fill a 20cl glass as the foam took its time to settle – When you ordered your first beer you’d always order a second to allow the bartender to have it ready – Proper Gasthaus courtesy required you to greet everyone in the bar as you entered, “Guten Abend” - And when you left is was polite to say goodbye, “Tschüs!”

All good things must come to an end - I loved Gallery Night Pensacola and will miss it very much - I was so fortunate to have made so many Pensacola friends!

The Bad Habits Lounge Studio is starting a trend with its "Christmas Mermaid" for only $2 - Available as a 5" x 7" prints with 3 English sentiments and 10 foreign languages: French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog (Filipino) & Thai - I'll be at the FWB Farmers market this Saturday.

Gallery Night Pensacola Friday night was a total bust – After a sweltering setup at 4, a popup thunderstorm arrived at 7 – The rain stopped at 8:30 and the crowds came back – My booth was very damp and the photos were sticking together – Some vendors stayed, but I had had enough and packed up – There’s always next month!
