Kara Cooper Photography Photographer I picked up a camera in 2005 which became my creative outlet in my small city of Akron, Oh.

The more I traveled and lived in new places, the more it became part of my experience to archive it. I grew into versatility through being present with whats around me, by listening to whats around me and exploring deeply with every opportunity. It brings me fulfillment to photograph portraits, places and events because really its recognition of the moment. Senior portraits are always so fun to me. Seniors are full of life and usually encourage my creativity. They are more driven to explore. Senior portraits were some of the first photo jobs I ever had and it inspired me to pursue it as a career.

First two were shot just recently and latter 3 are from years prior.

First photo captured recently, the rest from our 2019 shoot where we first met. Lindsay Chapman is an epic, multi-talented PDX soul. She is a life coach for getting your life right, an ashiatsu masseuse for getting your body right and has several other talents as well. We made such beautiful work a few years ago and formed a friendship after it. I love when people hire me to do creative shoots cause I am 100% here for it!

I’m so lucky they keep choosing me to capture them. Especially when it was at Timberline Lodge. Check that last slide for a funny freezing smile.
