It is with a lot of thought and prayer that I have decided to step away from photography.
The funny thing is I never expected I would be a wedding and portrait photographer. I loved doing music, and when I decided to focus more on family, I put music aside. I still needed an artistic outlet, and my son was on the way, so I purchased a camera. I took pictures and learned. I met people and learned. I upgraded gear and learned, but still, just for the love of photos. Then friends started asking me to take photos. It snowballed into more people asking, to the point I had to establish a business and get insured. 200 plus weddings and portraits later, I am stepping away for another artistic endeavor. I started photography because of my children and have now been thrust into the world of authorship because of them as well. I find great joy in writing and sharing stories with young people and want to dedicate myself to it fully. At counsel from someone, they asked what can you take off of your plate since you have so much....so here we are.
To everyone who has allowed me to capture a moment of your life, whether it was a birthday, an engagement, or a wedding. Thank you. I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of your family and, in many cases, call me family. I've celebrated life and loss with you and and I thank you for those moments. Im still around, and im still keeping my gear, but yeah....this is the end. Still hit me up and feel free to follow my author journey
