I had to have my girl's back and get some photos on here for Senior Sunday! 😉
Oh, how I adore this gorgeous girl!! She's sweet, she's sassy, she's girly-girl and tomboy, she's beyond beautiful, and has the brains to back up her looks, she's just as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside, and one of my most favorite things about her...she's never afraid to tell it like it is. And something I found out tonight, she's not a fan of heights and wasn't willing to risk life and limb to climb onto the rickety goalpost! lol
Hope you have the BEST senior year, Dyl! Keep being unapologetically YOU! Lova ya, girl!

Spent a fun evening with this handsome guy the other evening! We managed to squeeze these in literally right before it started raining...in fact, it rained on us as we headed back to our cars lol!
This is another Riverdale kiddo who I will likely always remember as just a tiny guy. His dad was my son's t-ball coach back in their little days. He's a great kid...kind of quiet, but always very polite and well-mannered. His parents should be very proud of the man he's becoming!
Thanks for hanging out with me, guys! Glad we could do these at a place that is special to you both.

Loved this session with this gorgeous girl! She's a perfect mix of sweet and sassy! And my goodness, does she look like her mama! Just beautiful!

It started off overcast, and I was afraid we weren't going to get any golden hour lighting, but it showed up at the most perfect time!

I love that she incorporated her flute and piccolo for some photos to make these a little more personal. One of my favorite things about senior sessions...you can pretty much do anything you want and incorporate any items to tailor the photos just for you!

Thanks for hanging out with me, ladies! I had fun! And hope you have the best senior year, Macie! Enjoy every moment!

Being the mom of a senior boy is hard! You know you are about to embark on a journey of letting go as he prepares to take on the world and start a life of his own, where he will eventually have a family of his own to care for. He needs you a little less each day, and it makes you both proud and sad at the same time. Such a bittersweet time! As the saying goes, "your son will hold your hand for only a little while, but he will hold your heart for a lifetime".

These mamas are currently on that journey...watching their boys take the field for what is only the beginning of so many last first times throughout this year.

Hug those boys, mamas, and enjoy the ride!

Such a handsome guy! But like I told his mom last evening while I was editing these, he may be grown, but I still see him as a little boy...the one with a mischievous grin and huge dimples who zoomed around a soccer field.
Only one other kid at the school has dealt with more season-ending injuries than my own kid, and that's Jayden. He has dealt with so much adversity in his young life, but has handled it all with grace and positivity, even at times when most people would give up or feel sorry for themselves. Jayden still shows up for soccer... every game, every practice, supporting his team...and considering he hasn't played since his freshman year, that says a LOT! But he's finally cleared to play this season, and I hope it's everything he's worked so hard for!
I hope you have the best senior year, Jayden! Enjoy every moment!

These two are just the cutest!! High school sweethearts who are preparing for their forever. 🤍 I've had the honor of documenting their story throughout the years, and I can't wait to continue to do so.
I just love that they incorporated their dogs in some of these photos! Yes, they held them, and yes, they are probably too big to hold (but do we really care if our babies are too big to hold?!), and yes, the dogs were complete chaos while they were being held! lol

Thanks for including me in all of your special moments, Jenna & Matthew! It's been an honor. Looking forward to documenting your big day!!!

These two!!! 🤍 How cute are they together?!
It started POURING right after we got there, we waited in a pavilion for it to stop and snapped a couple photos of them with their Bible, it stopped for maybe 15 minutes, and then another downpour!! Good thing they didn't mind finishing their session in the rain! lol

Thanks for hanging out with me, guys, rain or no rain, you are beautiful together! May your relationship stand firm on faith and love.

This handsome guy is a man of few words, and even fewer smiles for photos! 😂But I think I heard him talk more during this session than I ever did during an entire baseball season while he and my son played travel ball together! haha And we managed to get him to smile for a few photos (I won't repeat the things that were said for the sake of a smile!!!)
We tried to squeeze in as much as we could to this session and had the perfect night to do it...from basketball photos at the school to his mama's version of "Toy Story" to FFA and fair awards to his love of hunting on the family farm...even snagged a few of him and his new little sidekick, Bexley! And of course, since we are both baseball families, we had to grab a few at the ball field while we were there (more of those to come in the spring!).
Thanks for sharing your boy with me for an evening, Nevilles! He's such a great kid! I had fun with you guys! And what's said at sessions to get Kolin to smile stays at sessions!! 🤣🤣

Enjoy your senior year, Kolin! And I will see you in the spring!
