Fall 2023
Back again....this time for middle sister's 3rd birthday shoot and some family photos! She loves rainbows, the color blue, and her giraffe! We tried to incorporate them all. And she was all smiles- perhaps the most she's ever given me. By the time we got outside to the family photos she was pretty beat but she still did great!!

Fall 2023 brought a fantastic session with a high school senior set to graduate this year! It was truly an honor that they traveled all the way from Northern VA for his senior photos. Having previously photographed his older sister's senior session a couple of years ago, seeing their family return was special. He was incredibly photogenic and a natural in front of the camera. I'm confident he'll achieve great things after his graduation this year!

Part 2 to the earlier Pregnancy Announcement post....
We had a mini maternity/gender reveal session on their new land over the summer. The session started with a girls vs Dad 'tug-of-war game' that ended with....Dad winning, representing Team Blue! I was right on my inclination😊They were all so excited when they first found out, as they were hoping to have a boy join their family! Their property is just gorgeous, and as I was driving home, the song 'Buy Dirt' played on the radio which I felt was perfect timing! As I listened to the lyrics, I couldn't help but think about them and how it summed up their session on their new 'dirt'—a beautiful start to their new chapter!

I don't always photograph engagement sessions....but when I do, it's an extra special one!! This was my own beautiful daughter and her handsome fiancé! Capturing their love last summer near their home in VA Beach was a true joy, even if the sun quickly set on us. Reconnecting with this wonderful family last summer, whom I had the pleasure of photographing before the pandemic, was truly heartwarming. This adorable little guy brought so many smiles and joy during our session last spring. His excitement for getting messy with the cake was perfect! From his sweet newborn session to this fantastic one-year milestone a year later, he's been a superstar in front of the camera!
