Hi Friends! It’s me, Jaimi! 🌿

This passion of mine started in the darkroom. The smell of chemicals, loading film, watching a photograph come to life... this was my place. In 2009, I took a leap of faith, left my full-time job, and built my business from the ground up. Since then, I’ve grown as an artist and found that portrait photography is where my true passion lies. Over the past two years, I’ve also started mentoring photographers and realized that helping others grow is just as meaningful.
My favorite roles in life are being a Mom to my beautiful son, and a wife to my endlessly supportive Husband (20+ years together and counting). As much as I LOVE to travel, my favorite place is home with my family and basset hounds 🏡🪴I take pride in the space we have created and the welcoming energy it provides (glass of wine, anyone?) 🥂
The music is always blasting, from my morning coffee through editing, to cooking dinner. I once dreamed of being a music producer (even bought the book in junior high), then imagined life on the road photographing rock bands. My son has taken an interest in the drums so there’s still time!
I’ve had the same core group of girlfriends (12+ of us) since high school and they are a true extension of who I am. This group has seen every version of me, and loved me through them all. That’s not just friendship, that’s home 🤍
Favorite things? Well, I tend not to believe in favorites (besides Led Zeppelin and the 49ers... because, duh). But if I had to name a few, swipe ⬅️
Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me. The truth is, life has given me its fair share of challenges, but we can save that for another day. I’ve learned to chase the good and hang onto whatever sparks joy. Trying to see the good in people, and more importantly, help them feel comfortable in their own skin. That’s the secret ingredient to this work…connection.
