Welcome to my art gallery! I got my start on Instagram as a landscape photographer that dabbles in wildlife, concert, lightning, macro, and travel photography. Instagram began as an app allowing users to easily edit and share their photos with filters. Choosing to leave my photos unfiltered and realistic helped my work to stand out, in an understated way. In addition, I took many of my best photos

on an iPhone instead of a professional camera. My tagline is โ€œLife Without Filters.โ€ I strive to create images that accurately capture the essence of what you would have seen and felt, if you had been there. Besides the literal meaning of my slogan, there is also the figurative meaning of living a full, active life that is true and real and brings happiness and fulfillment. I aspire to do that, and my photography is actually a valuable byproduct of the process. I love hearing from people that went on their own adventures, after seeing one of my photos on Instagram, on a website, in a travel guide, or on a magazine cover. My photos have been featured by Apple, Arizona Highways, Sunset, Outside, AllTrails, Hawaiian Airlines, L.L.Bean, and many more well-known entities. My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

I'm sharing After Hours - Beaver Falls, Havasupai because the scene feels steady and calm. Tiered turquoise pools spill over travertine ledges, each level feeding a softer cascade below. Milky sheets of water move in slow arcs against the glassy basins while warm reddish canyon walls and pockets of green offer a quiet contrast. The composition guides the eye through natural terraces to the distant falls, balancing movement and calm and making a subtle focal point for a living room, study, or corridor. I found this view at Chapel in the Hills and wanted to share it. A low vantage brings a meadow of daisies into the foreground, white petals and warm yellow centers leading toward a tiered wooden stave church tucked among tall pines. Bright chartreuse foliage on the left contrasts with the churchโ€™s rich cedar tones, and sunlight sculpts highlights on petals and shingles while soft shadows rest beneath the eaves. It feels calm and quietly optimistic, late-morning clarity with a hint of cool forest shade. Purple bee balm presses forward in a sunlit meadow, leading the eye out to rugged rock spires and slender pines against a clear blue sky. I wanted to share this view from Custer State Park because the low vantage shows the scale, moving from delicate blooms to enduring stone, while warm late-afternoon light keeps the scene calm. I found this scene in White Pocket, where sun-baked sandstone folds rise and curl toward a pale dome beneath a clear blue sky. Layered bands of rust and cream trace broad, wave-like arcs, and rippled surfaces carved by wind and water form ridges and shallow troughs. Shadows settle into the deeper grooves, giving the view a strong sense of relief and gentle movement. Small fissures and pebble pits add tactile detail without overwhelming the composition. The colors feel restrained but rich, and thereโ€™s a quiet, resolute energy in the lines and light. See it here: https://www.joshlien27.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/dsc05832

Sunlight threads through a stand of aspens, their leaves shifting gold and amber above a narrow, leaf-strewn trail. The pale trunks rise in repeating rhythms and the path recedes, offering a quiet, steady sense of depth. I wanted to share it because the simple palette of pale bark, warm yellow, and touches of deep green feels calming without fuss.
