Meet the Photographer
Eve Millar is a photographer inspired by things seen in everyday life. She has had a love of photography since she was a young girl and took her first images for a 4-H Project. Eve creates images with a different perspective and enjoys photographing many different subjects. She is currently capturing portraits of the animals on her ranch and High School seniors. Eve also has a passion for still life items she finds abandoned near her home southwest of Crookston, NE.
Eve captures images in both color and black and white. Her work grasps the viewer’s attention and stirs their emotions. Eve is the owner of Inspired Imagery by Eve Millar, a photography business she started in 2017. Eve hasn’t had any formal education in photography. But, she follows the teachings of Jason Lanier, Brooke Shaden, and Lindsey Adler.
As a new member of the Sand Painters Art Guild and ANAC, Eve is starting to share her work at art shows. In 2017, the piece “Leading the Boy’s Horse” received 2nd and her image “The Couple” received 3rd in the adult division at the Jane Keller Memorial Art Show. In 2018, three of her pieces have been part of the Carnegie Arts Center’s 25th Anniversary Show in Alliance, NE.
Eve feels blessed to live in the heart of the Sandhills with her husband and three children. The ranch they own provides a multitude of inspiration for creating remarkable work.
