Today on the podcast, we’re sharing the behind the scenes of our first time selling a business, and how God taught us some unexpected lessons about Biblical stewardship and storehouses.

His ways are not our ways, and when we follow His ways, His provision is exceedingly and abundantly more— we’re not just talking about money in a bank account. Kingdom provision can show up in a hundred different ways, the greatest of which is simply God’s nearness and presence in your life.

This week on the podcast, I(Nathan) sit down with Pastor Ryan McCoskey to talk about why church matters.

We don’t know what your experience with church has been. Maybe it’s been beautiful and life-giving, or maybe it’s been painful.

Wherever you’re coming from, we hope this conversation encourages and helps you better understand the purpose and value of the local church.

The Gospel transforms us through grace. If you have repented and trusted in Christ, you stand righteous before God because of His righteousness, not your own. There is nothing more you need to do to earn the Father’s acceptance. Yet, as we journey toward Heaven, God uses the local church to grow us in Christlikeness, strengthen our faith, and encourage us along the way. It isn’t just another thing to add to your weekly schedule. It’s vital to our growth.

Join us this week as we unpack why the church matters and what it looks like to become meaningfully connected to a local body of believers.

Last winter, I (Patience) had the joy of attending and leading worship at therootedbusiness retreat for Christian mothers in business and when I say it was life changing, that is truly an understatement.

Today, one of the beautiful women behind the retreat, KyAnn | Entrepreneur Mom Coach joined me on the podcast to talk about her heart for coaching women, and what it looks like to be rooted through seasons of survival. I so appreciated her authenticity, sharing the path she and her family have been on over the past 10+ years, and how God has been faithful through it all. Comment ROOTED and I’ll send you the episode link.

If you haven’t checked out the podcast yet, this is a great episode to start on. Tag all your beautiful women entrepreneur friends in the comments because this conversation is so needed. 🤍

We almost didn’t tell these stories. 😂

This week on the podcast, we’re going behind the scenes to share some of our most unhinged business stories.

Bullet holes through Airbnb walls.
A broken bed during Mass.
The police get called to a wedding.
A property owner trying to shut down an Airbnb while guests were STILL staying there. 😳
And our VERY FIRST Airbnb guest asking if he could wash blood off his clown suit. 🤡🩸

Oh… and those aren’t even the craziest ones. They’re just the ones that were safe enough to put on the internet. 😂

🎙️ New episode is out now.

Date night with a twist featuring Goodwill Industries of Kansas 😳

AND we were too frugal to actually walk out with these outfits… 😅 We buy 99% of our clothes second hand, but these outfits didn’t pass the vibe check.

What if there was a way to monetize your hobby simply by sharing the knowledge you already have? 👀

This week on the podcast, we had children’s author Hannah Scholtz join us to talk about her love for agriculture, her homestead, and what happened when she decided to take a chance on writing a book.

She shares her journey from an idea to publishing her own book and how she’s sold 700 copies in less than five months!

It’s such a great reminder that sometimes the things you’re passionate about can turn into something much bigger than you expected.

Comment BOOK and we’ll send you the link to the podcast episode + a link to her book, Farmers Are Superheroes! 🌾

She was 19. I was 20.

We met briefly during my Spring Break at a film festival in San Antonio. A year later, I slid into her DMs on Instagram…

…and she told me not to message her again unless I did something first. 🚫😂

Somehow, that wasn’t the end of our story.

The origin story of The Axmanns: how we met, how we fell in love, and how it all actually began is on the podcast this week. ❤️
