12 years ago was the first time I photographed Ava and now, here she is, a senior in high school. This session was so fun except one thing...

THE BITING MURDER FLIES AT THE BEACH. Yeah, I said it, they are murderers. And for some reason, they loved MY legs. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't prefer they love my clients' legs, but their attack on me was rude. They covered my legs like leg warmers. Blood was shed (mine not theirs).

But, the beach showed up and Ava was on point. Despite the 240 degree heat and the murder flies, we pulled off one of my favorite sessions of the years.

14 years...that's how long I have been photographing Audrey and her family. It is the most incredible gift to be in this role of mine...getting to know and watching kids grow throughout their early years.

Audrey is one of the sweetest girls. While getting ready for her session, her area lost power (again). They remained calm and showed up with the best attitude. We proceeded to experience magical weather and beautiful moments.

I'm so excited to watch Audrey continue to grow and shine. 🤎
