Our Instagram may have accumulated some dust, but our cameras have been in full use. Similar to our friends here, we have a baby to nurture!

One last hurrah! 🎉
While we might have been battling the cold and wind this day, I like to look at it as this day preparing them for their time in Alaska. It’s truly an incredibly small world after all. From me serving their table to taking their family photos years later. I’ve watched the kiddos grow from a distance and wow has the time flashed by. This won’t be the last shoot with this family and the farm by no means. We have a future endeavor with them in the works. Keep a look out!

While the aura of Thanks still shrouds my mental, I look at this family and am nothing but thankful for the good times we’ve had and continue to have. Once our paths crossed they soon became two roads running parallel to each other. I was integrated into the family as if I was one of their own before I even knew it. Both Goofy and Gracious. I just need to help me with my Baltimorese.

This week is Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays! So in honor of this, I just want to appreciate all our clients who have booked sessions with us this past year. We could not have done this without you all and it has been truly special being able to capture these moments. The connections we are able to make with all of you in a short amount of time is something I will never take for granted. So thank you everyone and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your friends, family, or chosen family.

Second year capturing the Macko family and this year we had the opportunity to add more family members. Some parents fear doing sessions because of the unknown and how their children might respond in front of the camera. However, they can be so much fun! Sometimes you just have to sit back, let the kids come up with a few ideas, and let their personality shine. These kiddos had no problem exploring and letting out a few giggles.

Don’t get me wrong I love every session we do and the people we get to meet, but it’s truly special when you get to do an engagement session for a coworker who’s turned into a friend.
