Several weeks ago I was introduced to the singer/songwriter Lauren Daigle. The song by her titled “You Say” was played during the closing of our worship service at Vanceboro United Methodist Church. This song is powerful... to me, it speaks volumes which caused me to check out more of Lauren’s music. I found that she just released a new CD titled “Look Up Child” at the beginning of the month on September 7th. To my surprise she has a song tilted “Rebel Heart” on her recently released CD.

Ok, now... my reason for this post. I have often wondered when people see this page and see Rebel HeART Photography if they really get and understand the true meaning behind me and the name of my glorified hobby in photography. It has nothing to do with race, prejudice, the confederacy, or anything even close to any of these. It means more on what I have struggled with personally in my life and relationship with my Lord and Savior! Below is a link so you can listen to this beautiful song. The words sum it up and I couldn’t have said it better myself!

Jolie Koonce is finishing up her Junior year at WCHS... it was a pleasure having the opportunity to capture memories of this smart and talented young lady. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. I’m looking forward to doing her Senior portraits in the Fall.

I am way behind on getting my photos posted on here... I’ll kinda start where I left off. So, this would be part 2 of the engagement session with Jake Hayes and Jessica Stauffer who are now married. I enjoyed my time during this session having the opportunity to spend time with this wonderful couple.
