This beautiful waterfall plunges down a sheer basalt cliffside. To its left, a delicate, secondary horsetail veil branches off and cascades gently into the canyon. The entire basin is carpeted in vibrant green moss, framing a rushing, rock-strewn creek that makes it one of the most dreamlike and photogenic waterfalls.

I missed my chance this season to get back out to the gorge during the quick bloom in the fruit loop due to working crazy overtime. But ill always have last season to reminisce over.

This was a fun evening chasing sunset . I definitely was not prepared for the incline of this trail while also carrying way more glass than I would probably need. However it was a really magnificent view and worth every step.

Throw back to this time last year when I finally got a chance to catch Mt Hood showing off during a beautiful sunset while towering over some lupin and balsamroot wild flowers. One of the many reasons to why I love the Pnw.
