Why should everyone else get to profit from and enjoy women's bodies except for the women who actually inhabit those bodies?

I can't wear that skirt to school, it's my responsibility not to provoke the boys and men (my thighs are distracting them).

I can't wear that crop top to work, it's not appropriate (no one can work with 1 inch of my torso showing).

I can't post that picture online, men I know or some future authority figure might see it (they can't respect me if they've seen... me).

I can't wear that out, I'll be asking for it (my skin tempts them).

Or maybe,
my thighs can't make you do anything,
my crop top has no effect on our work,
respect should be a given based on character
not skin,
and my existence is not an invitation for assault.

The human form is beautiful. The human form is art. Don't let society gaslight you into thinking that those who show their form deserve anything less than love and respect.

It's time to deconstruct the antiquated boxes we try to force each other into.
