Finally made it back down to Sherman Island to kiteboard, but the first day was only able to sit on the beach and watch the one person making it work in the super light wind. Time to learn to kitefoil so I can ride next time too!

This was the day I learned how to ride a strapless surfboard finally! I bought one back in February, about two weeks after my second surgery on the foot, because I wasn't sure if I could ride a regular kiteboard with straps so soon after the surgery. I had my Caribbean trip planned two weeks later. Turns out I was ok on my regular board, so I just stuck with it. Finally pulled it out again last month and got a hang of it. Not quite ready to head to the waves, but baby steps.

When there's no wind, the paddleboard comes out. Good to see this girl again, even if it's once a year for one day.
