It was so amazing getting to photograph these two last week. They are seriously the two sweetest people ever!

I have wanted to shoot at this location since I visited it back in 2022 and it was even more gorgeous than I could have imagined! We basically had the entire place to ourselves and an absolutely gorgeous sunset. Already planning my next trip back! 🙌🏼

This shoot was planned to help my amazing intern gain some extra experience working with couples and help build her portfolio as she finishes up photography school. She did SO good, and got some amazing images!! 🙌🏼

It’s officially cherry blossom season!! 🌸🌸🌸

I’m going to be honest…cherry blossoms and any flowering tree are my absolute favorite! 🙌🏼 I wish they lasted longer than two weeks, but I’ll take what I can get!

Because this is so quick of a season, scheduling cherry blossom sessions are typically very last minute when I find the perfect trees and see good weather in the forecast. So if you’re interested in one of these, reach out soon! 🤗

Oh and I’ve already found my first spot with the most gorgeous cherry blossoms that are perfect right now!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 but they’ll probably only be this perfect for about a week or two. 😔 who’s up for it?!

I was scrolling through mid journey one day seeing if anything inspiring had been created and I came across an image of a woman completely in silhouette on a white background and glowing silver tinsel hair. It was completely unrealistic to create in real life (at least not easily) but it absolutely inspired me.

I searched SO long for a silver tinsel wig - but unless I wanted to drop a lot of money that wasn’t going to happen. But I did find this cool jewel headpiece, so I went with that! And from there I wanted to stick with the idea of glowing hair and high contrast but I wanted to add color. And I really wanted to go with blue and red. I have no good reason why, other than I love those two colors. 💙❤️

We had some trial and error as we worked through the lighting, but I’m SO happy with how this turned out! We didn’t need a million photos…I honestly had just one shot I wanted to get with this look and I feel like I got it!! 🙌🏼
