Meditative State📿
As a street photographer I could not ask for a better opportunity to capture the beautiful peak bloom of the cherry blossoms with a subject that stood out amongst the sea of people enjoying this sunny spring day. The only challenge was not interupting this fellow’s stroll to get a proper composition. Still happy about the shots nonetheless.🌸

𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩
The older man in the last two frames caught my eye because of how attentive he was to the details of his stand. He was constantly, but steadily, arranging, restocking, and cleaning his area. He seemed to have so much to do, yet he was not rushing. I was impressed with how he handled the rush of the market with grace and a sense of calmness. I admired his demeanor and how it stood apart from the common anxious hustle of the rest of the crowd.

(The first frame just caught my eye because the hat was cool and it fit the grid better for a lead image. Lol)

𝘿𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩
The first frame is one of my favorite street photos I’ve taken in a long time. I spotted this character immediately and every time I see this photo I can still remember the *CRONCH* as he bit into a big fresh radish his wife had just bought him. The light highlighting him perfectly, his relaxed posture, the look of delight on his face. So many details just flow together beautifully.
This series definitely shows how much more comfortable I am getting with street portraiture.

Hey! Its been a while. Life’s been full of change lately. So it hasn’t left much time for photography. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t carried a camera with me everyday. I finally got a moment to go through the photos I’ve been sitting on for a few months. Here’s a peek back at some spring days at the farmers market.
